What Happens in the Free Consultation

Let's talk about the free consultation. It really is completely free. I won't pressure you into buying something you don't want, or make you feel uncomfortable with any decision you make. The consultation should help you make the decisions that will make your session unique to you. We will go over every step of the process during the consultation, so there are no surprises when you come back for your session.

The consultation is to help you figure out some things:

Do you really want to do a boudoir session?

Sometimes after a consultation, a potential client will decide that boudoir photography isn't something they really want to do. That is perfectly okay with me; I will not take it personally if you decide it's not for you.

If you do want a boudoir session, do you feel comfortable around me?

The connection between a photographer and the client is super-important, and you should feel comfortable with me. I can always recommend other local photographers if you decide that another photographer might suit your needs better.

What do you want out of your boudoir session?

We can talk about what you're hoping to come away with after your session. Do you want something fashion-inspired? Glamorous? Sexy? Casual? We will make a plan for your session so there are no surprises when you come back!

The free consultation is a great time to ask questions and get things figured out. We will make sure that everything is worked out beforehand--any hesitations you might have, the expectations for shoot, and shoot preparation on both sides.
